The Division is comprised of the units shown above. Responsibilities include the training of all members, both sworn and civilian, beginning with the academy and continuing throughout their careers. In addition to training, the Division oversees internal adminstrative and criminal investigations of employees as well as risk management and civil litigation involving the Department. Finally, this Division uses the information gathered from the other elements to continually create and update the Department's operating procedures through the Manual of Policies and Procedures.
