Men's Central Jail (MCJ) kitchen is located in downtown Los Angeles and is currently managed by Senior Food Services Manager Salvador Garcia. MCJ has a total inmate capacity of 6,800. The MCJ kitchen prepares approximately 32,600 meals for the inmates and employee staff each day. Of these meals, approximately 2,000 are individually prepared medical meals.
