DETAIL:
Metro Detail conducts a wide range of criminal investigations and services including
the following:
- Kidnaps
wherein the victim’s
life is in jeopardy.
- Kidnaps for ransom and extortions.
- Escapes from custody
facilities.
- Extraditions.
- Threats
and crimes against government officials and Sheriff’s
Department members.
- Series
and pattern robberies.
- Amber Alerts.
- Solicitation for Murder.
- Fugitive Warrants.
- Fugitive Task Force

VICE
DETAIL
Vice Detail’s areas of responsibility include the following:
- Casino
operations and gaming (cheating, fraud and illegal
games or devices
- Morals
violations (prostitution and lewd conduct)
- Business
licensing, inspections and investigations.
- Pawn
investigations, inspections and property recovery.
- Contract
towing inspections and operations.
Investigative responsibility related to bookmaking, blood
sports and sports gambling were transferred to station detectives
in November 2003. |
