Individual & Corporate Sponsors Maintaining an organization that offers a comprehensive slate of mentoring, educational tutoring and after-school recreational activities open to all young people in Los Angeles County, as the Sheriff’s Youth Foundation does, requires a broad base of support. To fulfill its objective of increasing community safety through fostering self-esteem and a sense of purpose in youth, the Foundation receives contributions from the public and private sectors. The Foundation, operates on an annual budget of approximately $1.5 million, obtained from public funds, private grants, corporate contributions, major fund raisers and individual contributions. Its current budget goals are to increase this budget in order to assist more Los Angeles County youth. The Foundation cannot list the thousands of volunteers and contributors who also enable Sheriff’s Youth Foundation programs to operate successfully. They are an essential support base in addition to the following large contributors.
